Welcome to Mrs. turner's First grade Class

The summer reading book for entering first grade was Chrysanthemum. The main character in this story is a wonderful unique little mouse. With that being said I decided to use the MOUSE acronym to describe all of my students. Here is what it means to be a MOUSE in our class:
M ost O utstanding U nique s tudent E ver
I am looking forward to working with each and every student (MOUSE) in my class. There is nothing more rewarding that watching children learn and grow as individuals.

Classroom Rules:
It is my philosophy that a great learning environment is where children are empowered. On the first day of school students help to establish rules for the type classroom that they feel they could learn best in. So together we developed our classroom rules.
1. Always use kind words and actions.
2. Raise our hands before talking, no shouting out!
3. Work quietly and do not disturb others that are working.
4. Try our best and do quality work.
5. Be a good listener when someone is talking.
6. Share with our classmates
